| ..........The Tucson Basketball League is an adult-recreation league devoted to promoting spirited competition with a strong emphasis on sportsmanship. Now in its 21st year of operation, the TBL has included hundreds of teams and thousands of players over the years, including some of the best amateur (and a few professional) players in Southern Arizona. Each league features competition in a wide range of skill levels and has something for just about everyone |
| ..........We run three leagues per year—the Winter league runs from January through late April; the Summer session runs from mid-May through August; and the Fall league runs from September through December. Each league consists of a regular season followed by a single-elimination tournament in which teams are broken into different classes for optimum competition. All players on the winning teams receive championship T-shirts. |
| ..........The league operates most Sundays during the year at Green Fields Country Day School on the Northwest side of Tucson. It not only boasts the lowest participation fee of any adult league in town, it also features two refs per game, scorekeeping done by an Ivy League graduate in Engineering, and computerized stats kept and posted for each player and team in the league.
